B&B overview
This detached three-storey house sits beside JR Nijo Station, with the JR line, the Tozai subway and the city bus stop all within about a three-minute walk, which puts most of central Kyoto and the wider JR network within easy reach. The house takes one group at a time, up to eight guests across four bedrooms — two tatami Japanese-style rooms and two Western-style rooms with wooden beds — and every bedroom has soundproof glazing and blackout curtains. Bathing is deliberately over-provided for a full house: three toilets in total, with a wet-and-dry-separated bathroom and washbasin on both the second and third floors, so a group of eight isn't queuing morning and night. The ground floor holds the dining room, living room and a small backyard with the washing machine and drying space, while the kitchen is set up for real cooking — gas hob, microwave, electric oven, rice cooker and coffee maker. There are stairs throughout; if anyone in your party would rather not climb them, tell us in advance and we can set up a bed on the ground floor.
