This is a nearly 100-year-old Kyoto Machiya, which has been renovated by Japanese designers to incorporate the comfort and practicality required for modern living while retaining its traditional structure and charm. The whole house is equipped with a floor heating system, and it is warm and pleasant even in winter. There are two separate toilets and a bathroom, which is thoughtful to meet the needs of multiple people. The bathroom has a bathtub with a view of the courtyard, so you can relax after your trip. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking during long stays, and you can enjoy the charm of Kyoto's local ingredients. Located in a quiet alley in the center of Kyoto, whether you are going to the historic Nijo Castle, or to Nishiki Market, Karasuma area shopping, it is within a 15-minute walk, with both transportation and living functions. Highly recommended for those who want to experience Kyoto in depth and seek a comfortable and continuous stay.
