B&B overview
The house sits one stop from Kyoto Station: take the Karasuma subway line to Gojo, then it's a seven-to-eight-minute walk through the back streets. It's a standalone property you have entirely to yourself, with a compact, well-equipped kitchen (fridge, induction hob, oven, microwave and coffee maker), a washer-dryer, a deep soaking bath and an electric massage chair for the end of a long day. Upstairs are two separate bedrooms, each with a 1.4-metre double bed, comfortable for up to four. The immediate area covers the basics without a detour, with a 24-hour supermarket, a drugstore and a 100-yen shop close by. For sightseeing, Nishiki Market is about twelve minutes on foot and the Shijo-Kawaramachi shopping district about fifteen.
